Lead concrete crews on residential and commercial projects from layout through final finish. You will own job-site execution: crew assignments, pour scheduling, quality control, and customer communication on site. What you'll do:
- Run day-to-day operations for a 3–6 person concrete crew
- Lay out jobs from plans: grades, forms, reinforcement, pour sequence
- Coordinate concrete deliveries, pump trucks, and inspections
- Enforce safety standards and keep the site organized
- QC every pour: finish quality, joints, cure, cleanup
- Communicate schedule and progress with the owner and customers
- Train and develop laborers and finishers
What you'll need:
- 4+ years of concrete experience with at least 1 year leading a crew
- Strong finishing skills — this is a working-foreman role
- Able to read plans, set grades, and estimate materials for a pour
- Valid driver’s license (company truck provided)
- Dependable leadership — crews and customers count on you
Nice to have:
- Experience with decorative concrete and foundation work
- OSHA 30 certification
- Basic estimating or bidding experience
